OUR LATEST NEWS

Over the last few months Refinery has produced some wonderful work. We’ve crafted poignant awareness-raising press ads, larger than life characters and much more. Our skillset has grown too, with new senior hires across the board.

Bargain Booze’s 300+ store managers have an amazing relationship with their local customer base. Based on this insight we created a jolly, larger than life, Christmas character, Burgess, who knows all his customers and exactly what to recommend to them.

We established Bargain Booze as the Home of Christmas Drinks and let our audience know that not only do they have amazingly low prices but those prices also apply to their festive favourites too.

The campaign ran on TV, Radio, OOH, their website and all their social media channels in the 6-week run up to Christmas.

The Arndale is well known for being Manchester’s one-stop Christmas shopping destination. Our task was to position Manchester Arndale as the go-to destination for all the family’s Christmas shopping.

For Christmas 2021, we updated the successful ‘Christmas All Boxed Up’ campaign for our client Manchester Arndale. The new fashionably festive campaign involved creating a series of boxes with mini-room sets, models and products inside. The campaign went live mid-October and ran until Christmas Eve.

EGO is a leading technology brand in the global Outdoor Power Equipment market. We’ve worked together to create a brand positioning for Europe that will help boost sales growth and market share – and reinforce EGO’s futuristic brand positioning across 5 key European territories. The new integrated campaign launches in the spring across TV, Digital, Website, Press, Social, PR and In-store channels.

HARD-HITTING HOT TAKES

We worked with West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service to create some
poignant and hard-hitting awareness-raising press ads. The insight behind these ads was that for many, portable heaters are a lifeline in
winter, however they can be life threatening if they’re used incorrectly.

This series of press ads communicates the concise and important message that electric heaters are an accident waiting to happen. They also encourage family members of the elderly to check in on their loved one’s safety this winter.
